Kathie was born in Ohio and graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School.  She is married to Nick and has 2 children:  a girl and a boy.  Her son, Nicholas, is almost 19 years old and is severly autistic. 

   Kathie has been a full-charge bookkeeper, sales representative and co-owner of her own business.  She also worked at Cuyahoga Falls School District at one of the elementary schools for 3 years in the MH (multi-handicapped) Unit and helped them to set up a program for special needs children.  For the last 4 years Kathie has been a certified provider for the Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities. 

   Although Kathie has worked with both gender of children and all ages; she adores working with teenage boys the most.  Her goals and aspirations are to make sure all the special needs individuals reach their full potential.  When Kathie is not working she is gardening, gourmet cooking, refurbishing houses, and just exhausting most of rest of us.  And she doesn't drink coffee!!!  Kathie's family is also very involved with Zane's Foundation.  Her husband Nick, Sr. and daughter, Tasha both volunteer a lot of their spare time.  Volunteering may be in the form of computer time, handing out flyers, picking up donations, etc.......if it needs to be done......they are doing it!
